Key figures and highlights of this edition
The 16th edition of the Trail Verbier Saint Bernard by UTMB, taking place from 11 to 13 July 2025, will welcome 5,400 runners from 65 different countries. The three most represented nationalities are: French, Swiss and Belgian. The event promises to offer exciting competition through breathtaking landscapes, from the streets of Verbier to the legendary summit of Mont Rogneux. The Upper Val de Bagnes will be well represented with strong local engagement — all races will go ahead thanks to the mobilisation of more than 400 local volunteers who will carry out various duties throughout the weekend.

Runners will take part in four different race distances: the 100M X-Alpine (140 km), the 100K X-Traversée (76 km), the 50K Verbier Marathon (43 km), and the 20K Verbier X-Plore (28 km).

New this year: all races will finish at Place de l'Ermitage in the centre of Verbier.

Matthieu Girard, director of the organising committee for the past 16 years, emphasises: “From the very beginning, we've been committed to showcasing our region by offering it a trail event with international reach. We're lucky to have such a beautiful area that is incredibly well suited to trail running, so we wanted to share it with the trail running community.”
